St. Mary Cathedral in Saginaw celebrated Los Posadas on Monday, Dec. 19. The event commemorates the nine nights during which Mary and Joseph were on the road to Bethlehem. Young people played the parts of Mary, Joseph, the pilgrims and innkeepers.

The rector, Fr. Thomas J. McNamara, gave the reflection, which included some incense.

A trio of angels were part of the procession.

During the service, volunteers like Leo Simmons prepared a fiesta.

The participants dug into the buffet meal after the service.
